Monarch Aircraft Engineering has been approved to provide line support for the Airbus A380.
The UK maintenance specialist says it has been certificated by the European Aviation Safety Agency and by the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority, and will support the double-deck type at Birmingham airport.
Emirates is the only airline operating scheduled flights with the A380 from that UK city.
