More Kill Vehicles

The US Army has awarded Boeing North American a $50 million contract to build three additional Kill Vehicle flight-hardware units for the Ground Based Interceptor research programme. Development of an exoatmospheric ground-based inter ceptor is an option under consideration for protecting the USA from ballistic-missile attack.
