KLM UK Engineering has disclosed its selection by Braathens Regional Airlines for a heavy maintenance contract.

The long-term agreement covers checks on BRA's fleet of BAE Systems Avro RJ aircraft, says the Norwich-based MRO provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. Work under the deal began last year.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that BRA has 10 RJ100s and two RJ85s, and also operates a range of ATR, Fokker and Saab turboprops.

KLM UK Engineering business development and sales director Ian Bartholomew states: "We have been supporting Braathens Regional for the last year and look forward to further developing our relationship."
