NASA Flies Lockheed

Lockheed has been selected by NASA to provide the solar transition region and coronal explorer spacecraft to be flown on the next Small Explorer mission, to be launched in 1997. The company will also provide the cryogenic cooler for NASA's wide-field infrared Explorer, to be launched in 1998.
