The sixth Network route planning event will take place in San Antonio, southern Texas, about 200km (130 miles) from the Gulf of Mexico, from 5-7 March 2006. Hosted by San Antonio International Airport, Network 2006 is moving out of Florida for the first time in four years. The event has been held in Texas before, however. The inaugural Network in early 2000 was hosted by Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport. Other previous Network hosts are Ft Lauderdale and Sarasota airports.
