Washington and Dallas-based Bizliner Aviation is marketing its aircraft selection and acquisition, certificate development and operational and modification support services to the owners of more than 200 corporate airliners now in service and more than 60 on order.

Formed in June by two industry veterans, Rodney Cook and Roger Pierce, Bizliner Aviation will offer a range of services including basic single-event consultancy, interim crewing, completions oversight and full operations management.

"We have lived through these projects as end users and understand the concerns and challenges facing our clients," says Pierce, Bizliner's director of operations. Pierce worked as pilot for US Airways and TAG Aviation for 21 years before advancing to senior director of operations for Teterboro-based Polaris Aviation Solutions, a business aircraft management and charter company. Pierce left Polaris in April.

"These aircraft are excellent values for owners and operators needing large cabins, long range, and great reliability," says Cook, Bizliner's director of aviation. "They are a very attractive alternative for a select group of owners, evidenced by the fact that they continue to be purchased and converted in the face of the recent economic downturn."

Along with senior pilot positions at Cathay Pacific and VIP flight departments, Cook has held managerial and director of operations positions during his 29-year career in the air transport industry.

In addition to covering the USA and Latin America, the company plans to open new offices in Asia and the Middle East, regions it sees as primary growth areas in the next two decades.
