New Japanese airport

Seven Japanese companies, in central Japan are proposing the construction of a new international off-shore airport, incorporating a 3,500m (10,000ft) runway to be owned and operated almost entirely by the private sector in Aichi Prefecture, site of the 2005 World Exposition.
