The Illinois-based company is exhibiting a mock-up of the Falcon 900 upgrade at its booth at NBAA featuring the InSight Display System suite from Universal Avionics (above). This incorporates five-screen electronic flight instrument system and dual centralised control units, with synthetic vision functionality as part of the primary flight display.

“Work is due to begin on the first 900B in January 2020,” says Kevin Hufford, avionics manager at Chicago Jet Group. “We expect certification in quarter two or three next year.”
