Flydubai has extended its partnership with US maintenance specialist AAR to cover a fleet of on-order Boeing 737 Max jets.

AAR says the Middle Eastern budget carrier has signed a long-term, hour-based agreement covering comprehensive component services for the re-engined narrowbodies.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that Flydubai has ordered 75 737 Max 8s and taken options on another 25.

AAR says the twinjets are to be delivered through 2023.

The contract is AAR's first to cover the 737 Max. The MRO provider has since last year been providing component support for Flydubai's 737-800 fleet under a similar deal.

Chicago-based AAR opened a warehouse in Dubai earlier this year.
