Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and GMF AeroAsia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at further reinforcing their partnership.
Under the MoU, both parties will seek to intensify their co-operation in the field of engine, component and airframe support.
The current agreement already sees the Air France-KLM maintenance unit provide engine and component support for Garuda Indonesia Group's Boeing and Airbus fleet, as well as subcontracting maintenance services to GMF for 747 airframe support in addition to component and engine support.
"Combining our complementary skills is the right move in order to further reinforce our regional presence and to provide our customers with even more competitive solutions in the strategic Asia-Pacific area," states AFI KLM E&M executive vice-president Anne Brachet.
