Air France-KLM has appointed Anne Brachet to succeed Franck Terner as executive vice-president for the group's maintenance division from today.

Brachet was president of Air France Industries since 2013. In her new role, she will oversee that division and sister operation KLM Engineering & Maintenance on the group's executive board.

She previously served as senior vice-president for AFI's engineering and airframe maintenance activities and the MRO specialist's engine overhaul division.

Air France-KLM chief executive Jean-Marc Janaillac says: "I am extremely pleased that the experience and professionalism demonstrated by Anne Brachet can be used to benefit the entire group."

Earlier this month, Terner was appointed to succeed Frederic Gagey as Air France's chief executive.
