Air Macau has entered into a codeshare relationship with Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA).

From 1 July, ANA will place its code on Air Macau's thrice-weekly Macau-Tokyo Narita and daily Macau-Osaka Kansai services, says ANA.

Air Macau will also start placing its code on some of ANA's domestic services from 1 July, and the two will link up their frequent flyer programmes.

ANA adds that it eventually plans to codeshare on Air Macau services into southern China.

An Air Macau marketing department official, who wishes to remain anonymous, confirms that Air Macau has put in an application to the Japanese authorities to increase the frequency of its services to Tokyo Narita. He declines to elaborate further.
