AirAsia X has signed a seven-year contract with Safran Landing Systems Singapore to overhaul and repair 24 sets of Airbus A330 landing gear.
The first set will be overhauled this year, and the contract will progressively roll through until 2025.
Safran previously won a contract from affiliate carrier AirAsia to provide MRO services on 32 sets of A320 landing gear.
