Airbus's Bregier to step down, Enders not seeking CEO extension

Airbus commercial aircraft president Fabrice Bregier is to step down in February next year, to be succeeded by Airbus Helicopters chief Guillaume Faury.

The group's chief executive, Tom Enders, will also not seek to retain his post beyond April 2019, the date at which his current mandate expires.

Bregier says he will pursue other interests and will not aim to participate in the selection process for a new Airbus chief to succeed Enders.

Airbus's board has disclosed the changes following a management succession review.
