All Nippon Airways will deploy the Bluebox Wow wireless inflight entertainment system on 13 Bombardier Q400 turboprops operated by its ANA Wings subsidiary.

The Q400s are operated from hubs such as Osaka Itami, Fukuoka, Nagoya Chubu Centrair, and Sapporo Chitose airports.

“We are delighted that ANA has put its trust in Bluebox to provide additional wireless IFE service in its Q400 fleet with Bluebox Wow, and contribute to its high-quality passenger experience,” says Bluebox's chief executive Kevin Clark.

ANA in 2016 had also rolled out a similar system on these Q400s. At that time, the company had selected Panasonic Avionics' eXWireless system to provide the service.

Cirium's Fleets Analyzer data shows that ANA Wings operates 24 Bombardier Q400s, aged between 1.3 and 15.6 years.
