ANALYSIS: Virgin's Little Red dilemma

Set up in March 2013 with a fleet of four wet-leased Airbus A320s to fill the feeder void left by its former codeshare partner BMI, Little Red operates feeder flights linking Manchester, Edinburgh and Aberdeen with London Heathrow for Virgin and Delta Air Lines’ long-haul flights. It marked the long-haul operator's first foray into short-haul flights.
