The indoor demonstration areas for land, air and maritime systems came alive on Tuesday at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America 2010. Draganfly Innovations took to the netted area with its Draganfly X6 quadrotor, followed by Adaptive Flight with its Hornet helicopter and Procerus, which demonstrated its autopilot technology. API Technologies led off in the ground area with the TeleMax robot, which it markets in the USA. QinetiQ North America showed off a fleet of robots, including its Talon, MAARs and Dragon Runner, followed by students using Clearpath Robotics platforms. In the maritime tank, iRobot showed its four-flippered Transphibian and students demonstrated the vehicles from the Office of Naval Research's SeaPerch student robotics program.
