BA to close Luanda route

British Airways is to axe its Luanda service in June.

The IAG-owned carrier says it is ending flights to the Angolan capital from London Heathrow on 7 June, having deemed them "not commercially viable".

FlightGlobal schedules data indicates that BA is the only airline flying on the route, which is being operated with Boeing 787 equipment.
