Bombardier will build an entire CSeries testbed aircraft at the new testing and training facility to be erected in Mirabel.

The Canadian airframer intends to break ground on the new facility this fall "before the frost" around the November timeframe, Bombardier executives tell ATI.

The structure will house the first CSeries testbed, and will be built before a CSeries assembly plant is constructed at Mirabel.

Bombardier's massive Mirabel plant currently produces the manufacturer's CRJ Series of regional jets. The CSeries building will be located adjacent to the CRJ lines.
