CAE has been named preferred supplier of training systems for the EADS Casa C-295 transport aircraft and is to deliver two full-flight simulators in late 2007: one for the Brazilian air force and one for the manufacturer’s Seville, Spain training centre. CAE has joined the Raytheon-led team offering the C-295 for the US Joint Cargo Aircraft and Canadian fixed-wing search and rescue requirements.
