Cathay Pacific started operating Airbus A350-900s on services to Dusseldorf on 1 September.
Prior to this, FlightGlobal schedules data indicates that the airline used Boeing 777-300ERs on the four weekly services. It is also the only operator between the two cities.

In addition to Dusseldorf, London Gatwick is the other long-haul destination to be operated with the A350s. The Hong Kong-London Gatwick service began on 2 September.
