China Southern Airlines has confirmed the cabin configuration for its Airbus A380 aircraft.

The Guangzhou-based airline, which has five A380s on order, will have 506 seats in total.

There will be eight first class suites on the lower deck of each A380 aircraft, which will be located in the front of the main cabin. These suites will have lie-flat massage seats.

The 428 economy class seats will be in the lower deck as well.

The upper deck of each of the aircraft will form the business class with 70 full-flat seats.

China Southern's first A380 has entered the testing phase will enter into service in September this year, said the airline's chairman, Si Xianmin.

The carrier will receive its second aircraft in November.

The SkyTeam alliance member will operate its A380s on daily domestic Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao services.

China Southern's first international A380 service will be on the Guangzhou-Paris route.
