The Federal Aviation Administration has followed Transport Canada and the European Aviation Safety Agency to award type certification for the Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen regional jet following first deliveries to French operator Brit Air and Spanish carrier Air Nostrum. The move clears the way for the 100-seater to fly in the USA.
