Start-up Cyprus Airways is preparing an extended flight network plan which will be put in place in March 2018.
The airline disclosed the intention for a "revised and extended" schedule after it conducted its first service, a flight to St Petersburg Pulkovo airport.
The Airbus A319 departed Larnaca for St Petersburg on 1 June.
Cyprus Airways' initial service relaunches a brand which had previously been owned by the Cypriot government and used for the former flag-carrier, before the airline collapsed in early 2015.
The new operator has links to Russia's S7 Group.
Cyprus Airways chief operations officer George Mavrocostas says the relaunch is a "significant milestone" for the local air transport industry.
St Petersburg airport's operator says the carrier will fly to Larnaca three-times weekly, adding that the Cypriot city is "one of the most sought-after resorts" from the airport, and is a destination for Ural Airlines, Rossiya and Nordwind.
