Cyprus Airways has extended its contract with UK-based IFE Services for the provision of in-flight entertainment content.

The entertainment package consists of classic and blockbuster movies, a broad selection of TV programmes and ten audio channels, says IFE Services, which will also provide Cyprus with other on-board materials and content such as its in-flight entertainment guide and passenger safety films.

Flightglobal's ACAS database shows that Cyprus operates a fleet of 10 Airbus A320 family aircraft and two Airbus A330s. In-flight movies are only screened on flights exceeding 2hr 30min, says Cyprus.

Financial terms of the arrangement have not been disclosed.

"Over the past ten years we have developed a very good understanding of [Cyprus Airways'] requirements. We are proud of the relationship and look forward to future developments of the partnership," says IFE Services CEO Mark Hogg.
