Portable inflight entertainment manufacturer digEcor has a second customer for its latest product after Azerbaijan Airlines selected the digEplayer L7 as its IFE offering.
Azerbaijan's selection follows the introduction of the L7 by Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium in July of this year.
Azerbaijan plans to offer the L7 on routes from the capital city of Baku to London, Paris, Milan, Moscow, Dubai, Istanbul and Ankara. Business class passengers on those flights will receive the player as an amenity.
digEcor is supplying the in-flight content for the L7, which features a 7in, capacitive touch screen. Planned offerings include a mix of Hollywood films, Russian movies and television shows, music, video games, airline history and a country information channel.
During last month's Aircraft Interiors/APEX conference, digEcor chief executive Brent Wood told ATI the company was in talks with half-a-dozen carriers for the L7 and larger 10in L10 digEplayer.
