Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) will announce today that it has selected Rockwell Collins communication, navigation and surveillance systems to be offered as baseline equipment for line fit on 70 of the company's new Airbus A320s. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled from 2011 until 2015.

"We're excited to begin a new relationship with DAE as we continue to expand our business with major aircraft leasing companies," says Jeff Standerski, vice-president and general manager of Air Transport Systems for Rockwell Collins. "DAE's selection of our systems as the preferred baseline configuration shows their confidence in our leading edge communication, navigation and surveillance avionics."

Bob Genise, chief executive of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise's Capital division, says: "Our selection of Rockwell Collins reflects our confidence in the employees and the products of Rockwell Collins. Rockwell Collins is a well-respected company in the aerospace industry, and we are pleased to offer their products as our baseline equipment on our A320 family aircraft."
