DVB's head of aviation finance for the Americas, Eelco van de Stadt, is to take over as the German bank's global head of aviation on 1 August, FlightGlobal understands.
He will replace David Goring-Thomas, who was recently appointed to join DVB's board of managing directors.
Van de Stadt, who will relocate to London, has for the past 11 years been based in New York with his current role.
Last year, DVB appointed Goring-Thomas to the board of managing directors after it was announced that Bertrand Grabowski would depart.
