Florida-based Banyan Air Service recently completed an avionics installation on a private Boeing 727 at the customer's maintenance base during a minimum maintenance inspection.
It retrofitted the aircraft with Thrane and Thrane's Aviator 200 swift broadband system that allows simultaneous voice and data capabilities using a small low-gain antenna, said Banyan.
In addition to high-speed data, the mobile team offers avionics installations, repairs and modifications. It is also an authorised dealer for all major avionics manufacturers.
