Daher is debuting its TBM 910 at EBACE alongside the flagship TBM 930, and is championing the pair as cost-efficient, highly versatile commercial platforms for Europe’s charter industry.
Daher’s timing is fortuitous. This year’s show comes around two months after the European Union approved commercial air transport operations with single-engined turboprops at night and in instrument meteorogical conditions.
Speaking at the show this morning, Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice-president of Daher’s airplane business unit described the validation as “a tremendous opportunity for the business aviation community to address a larger base of customers”.

He says: “Business travellers in Europe who require solutions for fast transportation now can find them with our TBM very-fast turboprop family, answering their expectations for high-quality service, time savings and safety.”
The TBM family – which includes earlier derivatives such as the TBM 900, 850 and 700 – is “well tailored for expanded opportunities in charters, corporate services and other missions now being approved for single-engine turboprops, taking full advantage of their efficiency and speed,” Chabbert continues. “In addition, the TBM will enable them to access more destinations while recent cabin upgrades enable them to stay connected during flight."
Daher introduced the TBM 910 in April. It is the next iteration of the TBM 900, featuring the Garmin G1000NXi next-generation cockpit, improved connectivity and a handful of cabin interior and safety enhancements.
With a price tag of $3.9 million, it sits below the $4.2 million flagship TBM 930 which was unveiled in April 2016. Three TBM 910s have been delivered to date and a fourth will be handed over on 22 May to a customer on the Isle of Man, says Daher.
