Embraer (stand 7040) has received European certification for its Phenom 300 business jet. The milestone was reached at the show today with the official handover of the type certificate to Embraer by the European Aviation Safety Agency. First delivery of the €8.5 million ($11 million) light business jet - which received Brazilian and US approval in December - is due in the second half of the year to UK charter company FlairJet. Embraer has a backlog of around 600 Phenom 300s and 100s, about one-third of which are Phenom 300s.
