In-flight connectivity provider Gogo Business Aviation has unveiled a new suite of integrated cabin, in-flight entertainment and voice solutions that can be personalised to meet the individual needs of passengers.

SCS enables passengers to create an IFE experience that is unique to them, the company says.

SCS Elite provides a single interface through which users can browse the internet, make and receive phone calls, access the cabin management system and access moving maps, movies, TV and news.

Embraer Executive Jets will begin installing the system on the Lineage 1000E later this year.

SCS Media is a smaller, cheaper option aimed at the light jet and turboprop market, which enables passengers to access entertainment through their personal devices.

“Business travellers expect their aircraft cabin to feel like home and be a place where they can simply turn on their devices and do whatever they want, from seeing a moving map, to watching a movie, browsing the web, checking the news or making a phone call,” says Gogo Business Aviation senior vice-president Sergio Aguirre.

“SCS can be installed on virtually any plane, big or small, flying anywhere around the globe, and we created it to be a simple, powerful way to integrate all the necessary technology onboard for an enjoyable passenger experience.”
