The European Aviation Safety Agency has certified a Honeywell voice over internet protocol system for installation on the Dassault Falcon 7X long-range trijet.
The Honeywell MCS-7120 satellite communications system provides voice as well as data communications for both cabin and cockpit applications, and can operate over the Inmarsat SwiftBroadband network, which offers bandwidth of up to 432Kbps per channel.
