Embraer delivered 100 commercial aircraft in 2010, 18% down on the 122 delivered in 2009, but says it is encouraged by "concrete signs of recovery".
The Brazilian airframer delivered six ERJ-145s, nine E-170s, eight E-175s, 58 E-190s and 17 E-195s to the commercial sector in 2010.
In total, Embraer delivered 246 jets in the 2010 calendar year, slightly up on the 244 aircraft delivered in 2009.
Embraer delivered 144 executive aircraft, including 100 Phenom 100 lights jets, 26 Phenom 300s, 10 Legacy 600/650s and eight Lineage 1000s.
Two other aircraft were delivered to the defence sector in 2010.
Embraer closed the year with a firm order backlog worth $15.6 billion, or 250 aircraft. In the 12 months, it signed contracts for the sale of 97 new aircraft.
"Throughout 2010, the commercial aviation market showed concrete signs of recovery and gradually regained its business activity," says the manufacturer.
