Emirates will deploy Airbus A380s on all of its five daily Dubai-London Heathrow services as of 1 February 2013.

With the latest addition the Gulf carrier will operate 42 A380 flights each week to the UK, also including its new daily Manchester A380 service.

Emirates has steadily grown its London A380 operations since first deploying the aircraft on scheduled services to Heathrow in December 2008.

Capacity constraints at the UK's main hub have prompted several carriers to increase aircraft size in lieu of access to additional slots.

However, Emirates's heightened deployment of A380s is not limited to southeast England.

The airline recently announced extra A380 services to Paris and New York, as well as new ones to Melbourne and Moscow. It operates 21 of the double-decker aircraft and has firm orders for 69 more units.
