EMS Aviation has made two key management appointments to round out its leadership team, and better exploit its full mobile connectivity product capabilities.

The EMS Technologies division has appointed aerospace industry veteran Clifford Topham as vice-president of sales and marketing, reporting to EMS Aviation vice-president and general manager Nim Evatt.

Additionally, Dan Monahan has joined the division as vice-president of finance, reporting to Gary Shell, senior vice-president, CFO and treasurer of EMS Technologies.

Both Topham and Monahan will be based in EMS Technologies' Atlanta area headquarters.

Topham most recently served in executive leadership positions in sales and business development for engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce.

Monahan most recently served as vice-president of finance planning & analysis for CDC Software Corp., a publicly held provider of enterprise software solutions. Prior to CDC, he held senior finance roles in SITA.

"With so much promising business emerging in the area of mobile connectivity, this is a great time to join EMS and its Aviation group," says Monahan.
