Ethiopian Airlines is still seeking lenders for the pre-delivery payment financing of 12 Boeing 737 Max 8s, FlightGlobal understands.
The aircraft are to be delivered to the African carrier in the 2018-2020 timeframe.
Ethiopian first issued the request for proposals in February.
The carrier did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
