Macquarie AirFinance has placed a firm order for 20 A320neos to add to its existing Airbus portfolio of 110 A320-family and nine A330 jets.
The lessor, a subsidiary of Australian banking group Macquarie, becomes a new customer for the type, says Airbus.
Engine selection will be made at a later date, it adds.
