SR Technics has been selected by Finnair to provide integrated component services for five new Airbus A321 narrowbodies.

The Mubadala-owned MRO provider already provides component support for A320-family and Embraer jets in the Finnair fleet, plus engine services for A320s and A340s.

Flightglobal's Ascend Online database lists the Finnish flag carrier's active fleet as comprising nine A319s, 10 A320s, seven A321s, eight A330s, seven A340s and four 757s.

One of its A321s entered service this year, and is leased from BBAM. Two additional new A321s are to be delivered directly to Finnair this year, and two more next year.
