Lithuanian maintenance provider FL Technics has been given design organization approval for cabin interior modifications.

The European Aviation Agency (EASA) granted a Part 21, section A, subpart J certificate, which authorises the company to design and approve minor modifications to the aircraft's cabin interior and associated avionics and structures.

This will mainly be used to change cabin layouts, interior furnishings, galley installations and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems, says the narrowbody base maintenance specialist.
