Fokker Aircraft has delivered the first two of four Fokker 60 Utility aircraft to the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The Utility received its Netherlands civil-aviation-authority type certificate on the same day. Hopes for export sales of the aircraft depend on Fokker finding a buyer. The Fokker 60 can transport up to 45 fully armed troops or 24 stretcher patients over a range of up to 3,250km (1,750nm), and the aircraft can be operated completely independently of ground equipment.
