Garuda Indonesia has revealed that it will end its thrice-weekly nonstop Jakarta-London Heathrow service, effective 28 October.

The SkyTeam carrier's senior manager of schedule management Bayu Widhiyanto tells FlightGlobal that the Boeing 777-300ERs currently deployed on the route will be placed on Jakarta-Tokyo Haneda, as well as Bali-Melbourne.

Garuda's ticketing office in London states that the carrier is restructuring its winter schedule to 2019.

FlightGlobal schedules data shows that Garuda operates Jakarta-Tokyo Haneda on a daily basis using Airbus A330s, and Bali-Melbourne eight-times weekly using the same type.
