Garuda Indonesia launched a thrice-weekly Makassar-Raha service on 17 July.
The carrier is deploying ATR 72-600s on the route. This will be operated for 10 months till May 2018, in cooperation with the district government of Muna Island, says Garuda.
On 5 July, Wings Air also started daily services between Makassar and Raha. Raha is the largest town on Muna Island.
