German Operating Aircraft Leasing has sold two Bombardier Q400 turboprops to a fund managed by Falko Regional Aircraft.

The two aircraft are currently on operating lease to Croatia Airlines, GOAL says.

They were acquired in by two GOAL special-purpose companies in 2009, at delivery, from Bombardier, with long-term operating leases to the Croatian flag carrier. The aircraft were held by private investors through the structure of a public fund managed by GOAL and majority shareholder KGAL.

The acquisition has been funded by Falko's Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund, which now has acquired a total of 39 regional jet and turboprop aircraft since its establishment in November 2015.
