China's Hainan Airlines has unveiled the basic cabin configuration on its first Boeing 787 aircraft, due to be delivered in September 2012.
The aircraft will have 215 seats in total, with 36 seats in business class and 179 seats in economy class.
It added that seats in business class will have lie-flat beds with a seat pitch of 74 inches.
Hainan expects to receive 10 787s by 2014, and these aircraft will be put on international long-haul routes to destinations in the USA and Europe, said its vice president Yu Wenyong.
The airline had previously said that its 787 in-flight entertainment systems will be supplied by France's Thales.
Hainan has 10 787-8s on order.
