Hong Kong's Metrojet has been approved to provide line and base maintenance to Embraer's Lineage 1000 and Legacy 600/650 aircraft by November.
"This cooperation will enhance our leadership position in aircraft maintenance across Asia," said Björn Näf, CEO of Metrojet. "It is a great honour to be Embraer's first authorised service centre for executive jets in the Greater China region. We look forward to a long-term partnership with Embraer."
Metrojet's maintenance department is a fully certified repair station with approvals from the US Federal Aviation Authority and Hong Kong's Civil Aviation Department. It is authorised to provide repair and maintenance services for aircraft produced by a number of major aircraft manufacturers.
