Peter Huijbers has been appointed the chief executive of China International Aircraft Leasing Service (CALS), a new state-owned aircraft lessor.
He was previously the head of marketing at Hong Kong Aviation Capital, and has had a long career in the aircraft leasing industry.
Huijbers took on the role on 9 January, and is based at CALS’s headquarters in Shanghai.

Hanwha Aerospace has broken ground on a new facility to licence-build the GE Aerospace F414 engine for the Korea Aerospace Industries KF-21 fighter.
