Privately-owned Indian carrier Jet Airways is launching a daily service later this month between Hyderabad and Dubai.

Jet says the daily Hyderabad-Dubai service launches on 18 August using a Boeing 737-800.

This is the airline's first international service out of Dubai and aims to cater to growing demand for air services between the Gulf and southern India, it says.

Jet already serves Dubai from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, it adds.

Jet will be competing on the route against Emirates, Air India Express and Indian Airlines, according to Innovata.
