The US state’s Cleveland and Cincinnati airports are bouncing back from waning mainline coverage as they welcome new service from several budget carriers. This development is opening up new fronts for competition on many routes.

Almost two dozen new routes will be launched in the coming months and will be operated by Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Air.
