EADS Sogerma and Panasonic Avionics have inked a cooperative agreement that will pave the way for the seamless integration of the latter firm's in-flight entertainment solutions into EADS Sogerma's premier business class and first class products.

"This agreement moves us closer to providing solutions to our joint customers for their seating and entertainment needs. The integration of new technology has become an industry standard which we aim to take a step further in this agreement," says EADS Sogerma president and CEO Jean Michel Leonard.

Panasonic Avionics CEO Paul Margis adds that the IFE firm looks forward to extending the IFE and seat supplier relationship "beyond the co-operation required for the [Airbus] A350".
